I could well imagine Newcastle wanting Gordon.
It will be Dan Ashworth that knows all about Gordon through his England "Elite" development role.
He was a stand out coming through the ranks with them.

Looks to have hit the buffers with us , maybe he needs a change & a coach like Howe.

one of gordon's open play goals was against palace. I think a one legged kenwright could score a 3 yard tap in with the goal wide open tbf

I agree with need signings, but I don't see anything to suggest Newcastle have even bid, and there is still no reason to sell players for less than we could possibly get. £30m probably only gets you one really good attacker in this day and age.

We can't sell a player until a good bid is on the table. I don't expect that to happen until the summer.

Not really. There is no guarantee at all of getting multiple good players with 30m in a January window. In fact I think its very unlikely

I never said it was a guarantee at all, but it absolutely is possible and other teams do it every single year. We’re the only team that pays £30m for average players consistently.

I think we can get closer to £40m, and I would definitely sell at that point. I don't believe we even have an offer on the table to discuss at the minute though.

Our problems all go back to our rubbish recruitment in the summer. This window is a complete struggle so far because the damage was done in August with poor signings who were overpriced.
