To be honest, I still think it needs to be around 40m or more to sell in a January window. Especially since we know Newcastle have the cash to pay it.
And a clause for a sell on too. His ceiling as a player is very hard to determine. I could see him becoming a 70m pound player in the next 2 or 3 years. Equally I wouldn't be shocked if he ended up in the championship.

We don't have time to mess about.
We need players that contribute to goals, ASAP.
To get those players, we need cash.
I agree with need signings, but I don't see anything to suggest Newcastle have even bid, and there is still no reason to sell players for less than we could possibly get. £30m probably only gets you one really good attacker in this day and age.
We can't sell a player until a good bid is on the table. I don't expect that to happen until the summer.
Sell Nan'ed and its open so many more doors for us.
