I think that's the first game where he's stayed switched on defensively throughout, even compared to his short sub appearances. Massive improvement and a very good sign.

Considering many see AWB as the best one on one defender, I can't recall a time he got the better of Anthony.

He must have breezed past him three or four times today.

I thought he was good today, though he definitely needs to work on learning when to release the ball - but that should come with experience

Cautiously optimistic about Gordon. Forget sending him on loan, keep him here where we have full control on how he's being coached and where he's being told to improve.
Calvert-lewin is the blueprint. Steady improvement and see what's what in two/three years.
