he is an average player with a high workrate currently but a great indication for the future. In terms of what we have and what we lack in the squad, gordon is the benchmark for the bare minimum required, someone to run and run all game. There is flashes of talent but that is all they are, the young spanish lad we had not too long ago was the polar opposite, no workrate but plenty of talent. I hope that in the coming years he does improve his game, it would be nice by the age of 23 or 24 that we are looking at a winger that can make a difference over 90 minutes.

Its a huge thing whether defending or attacking and we need major surgery in this area. Set pieces account for nearly 40% of goals scored in the PL, we don't seem to have any pre-prepared routines and Gordon seems to be our only option for taking, and we all know his end product ain't the best.

I loved him. Could barely play for 45 minutes without looking like a smoker with lung cancer, but could whip a ball to big Rom better than anyone.
