Angus Kinnear

FFS, that phrase gets worse by the minute every time you think about it.

"Happily dissatisfied" - that'll go down in folklore like "Taxi for <insert manager name>" and "Good Times".

What an achievement. Take a bow Angus. It usually takes years to utter something historical and so negatively memorable.
I would put it up there with Dyches "The run really isn't bad on paper if you add wins to it".

The highlighted text is being presented as some sort of achievement. It isn’t.
Of course it is. That's like saysing someone being third highest scorer in the PL but that's not an achievement because he played for so long. First, just being employed at this level that long is not something to sneer at. Secondly you still have to earn those points in the most competitive league in the world. It doesn't mean he's third best manager ever but to say it's not an achievement is bs.

TBF he is correct but it is only because of the amount of games he has managed, not because he is the 3rd best. Angus is on full on make us look better than we are mode.

He’s 13th on that list in terms of PPG (yes, I’m a sad statto)

Angus shouldnt have said anything about anyone/anything in my professional opinion apart from tribute to Seamus....as people have already said..digging holes etc etc

Sorry one final post from me as I’m clogging thread up. I think as people as alluded to, keep it brief as you say but if you’re going to discuss progress etc to not mention the ticket rise, when the other lot got their club to freeze prices is tone deaf.

They were promising but to who? In order to fulfil that promise they do need development and on pitch time which they’ve barely had this season. Let’s hope they get a lot more time next season. This summers transfers out will be just as interesting as the inbound activity

….they’ll get more time if they earn more time. Fans will soon complain if we ‘just play youngsters’ and get beat. Of the games Dibling started he was dragged off twice at half-time but I do agree that others have earned more time than they’ve had.

The success of his role is in being anonymous. That phrase has just ended any chance at that.

He should pray to whoever he believes in and some he doesn't that the end of season and Summer window passes off without incident.

But this is Everton so he should probably put the'Open to Work' banner up on LinkedIn.

That would then raise concerns about spending a near record amount of money (and our single highest transfer fee last summer) on a player who isn’t cutting it (at least in his first season)

I am concerned about his lack of game time but also as you say his performances so next season is make or break (sometime with young players it take a couple of seasons), he’ll only be 20 so no need to be a regular starter but he needs to be a regular in terms of game by games minutes even if a mix of starter and sub.

….i have to admit to knowing nothing about this bloke. For me, people in his position should be rarely seen or heard but let their actions manifest on the pitch and in the general well-being of the club.

If we’re doing fine, so is he.

Anyone who isn't honest and just tries to deceive to inflate us can just do one tbh. That is one of the reasons why we have done nothing in the last 30 years. Supporters know where we are and at the very least deserve honesty and a plan to how we are going to change it. Not going to get that from this chump.
