Andy Van der Meyde - The Lost Years

chico i'm not usually in the camp to focus blame on one person, but you have to admit some decisions moyes made were a bit strange.

the minute neville started limping he should have been pulled off. jagielka up front at the end of the game??? i usually get frustrated when moyes leaves substitutions till really really late, but this time it seemed particularly frustrating.

To be fair we were losing 2-1 when he made the substitutions, it was then 2-2 with 20 seconds to go. If it wasnt for that wanky mistake by Arteta to give the ball away the game would have finished 2-2.

your dead clever at spelling you lad.

whichever way you look at it we didnt deserve to win today.

So what would you do? Sack the manager and sell all eleven players?

What do you do for a living? Are you in a position to take over the reigns?

If we look at the facts, we have a manager who has no support from the board, the ambition stops at the manager. That isn't Moyes's fault, and he does the best he can with the players he has available.

His only faults are that he takes too long to change things and he is stubborn with certain players. All managers have their faults as it may come as a surprise to you, nobody is perfect.

im a manager ghost. i have loads of lads working for me.

if i did a job like moyes most weeks i wouldnt make profit and would go under.

where are we in the league lad. are you happy about that.

keep on saying stuff.

Who do you manage? Be a man and let us know.

I'm not happy where we are in the league, of course I'm not. I want to be 1st, not 8th. But we have to be realistic. We are in a league of 5th to 20. That is the reality at the moment. If we finish 5th or 6th then I am satisfied and see it as progress. The board may not back that, but what can the manager or the players do about the board?

Chain shop? You sell gold chains? So are you a jeweller? and gutted I'm barred.

I agree that the board need to go, I think there all dragging the whole club down.

Kirkby? Sound? if it get's the club recognised as a serious option for investment then yes. Don't give a [Poor language removed] that its 10 steps out of Liverpool.

I was glad to see VDM get on the pitch today. I thought he did well in the limited time he had.

Good for him.

what ghost's been saying about bringing youngsters on doesn't mesh with his earlier posts about how [Poor language removed] anichebe was.

from previous posts he's made he's always saying try this or that lad from our academy.

Moyes doesn't play baxter, rodwell, anichebe, lukas etc for a reason - they are not ready yet. He's been forced to play them due to injuries and the size of the squad.

no point slagging anichebe off, he was ok in the first and then faded -

as for all the people saying moyes doesnt know what he is doing - this club be facing the championship or already in it were it not for Moyes. And therefore facing bankruptcy.

Somebody name one manager who would come and do a better job, with no money in the jan window, and hardly any in the summer, a crippling debt, and a stadium falling apart.

Moyes is the best man for the job, I think some of the fans are spoilt by him.
