So is he

A) The gutsey striker who helped us to domestic and eurpopren success!

or

B) The patronising prick, who fiddles with knobs and turned down the chance to manage the club for Ruparts wads and media stardom!

What does everyone think? (No fence sitters please)!

a), good on him for making a few quid out of Sky. Rather listen to him than that f*ckwit redknapp (he p1sses me off, even before opening his dirty koppite gob)

Iv not long finished reading his book. He say's he was never actually offered the job. It was a PR stunt from Johnson to get the fans on-side. He states he was taken to one of his factorys on the wirrel on not to the club to discuss matters. Little dusty back room or somthing like that. All sounds like a bit of a farce really, an nothing suprises me what johnson done at this club. Gray would have cost to much money to hire an would have wanted to much transfere kitty. Howard was always the real option in his mind. He knew he'd come back for nothing an work on a shoe string.

Anyway i love gray (even thou as a comentator he stinks a bit). When i first started going with my dad around 84/85 he was my hero, scoring goals an putting his head were it hurt for the cause. so i'll go for A. You can't slate him for what he achived at the club.

Legend. end of.

I loved the really low headers he used to score, always looked easier to kick but you've gotta respect his bravery and devotion to the team.

I forgive him for accepting the dosh off sky over us anyway, which of us would turn down a cushy no pressure job like he has?

It has to be B he let us down when we needed him and now he sounds likea manu fan never gives us much praise:@

Hate to say it but a bit of both..i do tend to get splinters in my bum from fence sitting

IMo he was well past his sell by date when he came, howard was bargain basement shopping. He did score some brave but never spectacular goals and he owes us far more than we owe him.

Like most pundits, very few exceptions, he is a tosser
