he's far enough into and ACL recovery I doubt he has done much to be concerned about, much more likely his knee had cramped up with being sat for ages and was stiff when he got up. Mine both get cramps and mine are long mended

Don't think this relegation scrap would have been a scrap at all if he and Dom were healthy. Townsend is a good player still.

Scored important goals, turned in some important performances, its great having options and was gutted for him and us when the curse of the ACL took him down. Really hope he makes it back, experienced player with a level head on his shoulders.

I have a lot of time for Townsend, he is a good pro. Realises that even if things aren’t happening for him on the pitch, he can still contribute by grafting, helping out his fullback and generally being a nuisance to the opposition. If the rest of the team had his mindset, we would have finished comfortably in the top ten, maybe higher.
