Longshanks, The confessor, lionheart, kiddy fiddler, The names just roll off the tongue don’t they.
I quite like the name given to King John - John Lackland - the youngest of five brothers meant there was no lands left for him to inherit. It was quite apposite really because when he became King he lost the Duchy of Normandy and the rest of the French possesions. A really useless apeth, the start of many royal personages to deserve the epithet.
