Andrew

They simply have a lot of power and feel like people saying "no" to them isn't an option. Many of them genuinely feel they are above the law, for example the behaviour of Mandleson and alleged Pedo Andrew—flagrant disregard for the law over decades that still hasn't caught up with them and seems highly unlikely they'll receive anywhere near the punishment other people would get.

Plus it seems like they can never have too much money. With their connections, they are easily able to make more through questionable means. A lot of it through insider trading that would send you and me to prison. Just look at the net worth of US politicians who are earning $150k a year but are worth $50m. Nobody even questions it.

I mean, we have people sent to prison for streaming Sky on their TVs!
But you backed Trump.

Many massive MAGA republicans backed him too. They changed their mind. He's gone off the rails and isn't a person fit to lead that country. People reassesing and changing their minds is a good thing, no?
It is a good thing. When presented with evidence of a bad choice, regret and wanting better outcomes is a sensible choice.

I can understand the appeal of Trump during the last US election and the abysmal opposition provided by the Democrats. However I can't say I am totally surprised that Trump is awful, but the shear level of awfulness is astonishing.

To be really honest it did not take 20:20 hindsight to see he was a wrong ‘un. A bit like Mandelson, an obvious history of being dodgy.

There was and never will be a good reason to vote for someone with the track record of Trump and no one should be at all surprised at the outcome. Vance, Hegseth et al are more evidence of a broken political system.

If times are tough, blame the poor and homeless, not the people that offer poor wages and live off rents for substandard accommodation, whilst amassing more money than they could ever spend.

In other news, Musk’s wealth today exceeded 500 billion, meaning he could give every citizen of the world 1 billion and still have assets of 492 billion.

The world is officially mad.

international billionaire financier and agent, double agent, triple agent, market manipulator, convicted paedophile, sex trafficker, and fraudster* had writing this bad? he'd have needed his own translator. and how did his former cell mate find the letter? did he 'good will' him his book collection?

bullspit*!

Might I suggest you revisit the basic arithmetic of this comment?
