The question is then.. when is he going to be fit? how long has he been carrying injury for since he came back from the leg break? because if he hasn't been able to reach '100%' fitness since then it has to be a concern..

Unfortunately, getting beat and having players not “100% fit” is not a strong enough case for legal battles against the FA to get more points at the end of the season. Far too many fans of ours let players off the hook for dreadful performances with the “he wasn’t fit malarkey”.
We’ve spent about 400 mill and got a world class manager...........
Don’t win anything with that mentality.
We need players to perform week in week out. Simple.

Agreed. He’s a professional athlete with access to top strength and conditioning coaches and physios. If he’s not right yet maybe he should take some time out to get himself sorted.
