I don't want to believe that he isn't that player we saw in his first season here anymore but he's had about 2 good games since that injury.

Looks like he can't be arsed. The one thing (I said the same about Delph first half) is that he has nobody making any runs or movement ahead of him. That said, he's so immobile.. we can't have him and Sigurdsson on the pitch at the same time.

He seems incapable of moving faster than a light jog.

What worries me is he no longer looks to take the ball past a player. He never really had pace but he would open up space for himself in the first year under Silva and doesn't seem confident enough or able to do it anymore.
 
Not been a great game but the two times he has taken up really good positions free of defenders Delph and DCL decided not to pass to him. Might have made a contribution had they.

His passing used to be fantastic too, spreading balls. Again, think he's not been helped by the lack of pace and movement ahead of him but not an excuse for the turgid performance so far.
