Problem with Gomes is, he can’t carry the ball well, thus we can’t counter well. He is not exactly good at defending so plays basically bypass him if opponent attack fast enough. His saving grace is his passing, and if he has an off day in terms of passing, he basically contribute nothing to the entire team which is what happen today.

He is not suitable to our play anymore

Not having that he offers more than Gylfi at the moment. He’s not even more physical than him. So poor today.

I don't think he's capable of reaching the standard we need from him. All the ability but not able to deliver.
