With Allan back in the team it will give Gomes a bit more freedom. These last few games he has been back to season 1 Gomes. I like him could just do with him chipping in with a few goals.
Spot on been wonderful just few games, maybe he's fully over that horrendous injury, not just physically but mentally as well, hope so anyway, also we can see the real Andre Gomes. Agree with what your saying about the goals bit too, like Davies, they should chip in with a few, more shots please.

Great to see his performances, desire and even frustration from the last two games.

We all know he's a confidence player, and the lad has been brave enough to talk about his mental problems at Barca.

Then he got the awful injury from sons assualt, which I though would be the end of his career if I'm honest - not so much for the physical aspect of the injury, but the mental side if things.

When his mind is right, he is a very good player - I really hope he continues to improve and stay right physically and mentally, as he could be a huge player for us for the rest of the season.

There's no doubting his ability is top level, it's getting consistency that is his problem but hopefully he is on his way back.

If he keeps this form up that us one less midfielder we need in the summer. It would be great to have options so we can set up depending on the opponents.

I can't ever remember getting so emotional on behalf of a player before (perhaps with the exception of the much maligned John Daly scoring for Hartlepool United at Cardiff in 2005). I want him to do well so badly it hurts. He came back from an injury that could have easily ended his career and is starting to show the class that he undoubtedly possesses. God, I hope he keeps it up.

Agreed. I’ve always thought that whoever fixed Gomes would be getting a top player. We would never have got near signing him if he wasn’t broken from his Barca spell. The leg break only added to an already tricky situation while also literally breaking him physically. I’m praying it’s us, maybe no club will manage it but the club that fixes Andre Gomes will be getting a top midfielder
