Yeah, the criticism has been warranted. But he seems a confidence player and hopefully this will boost him.

there was a bit with about five minutes to go where he bullied the ball off one player, held off another and then moved forward to attack

another player challenged him, he lost the ball, didnt get a free kick and Wolves had a chance at goal

theres definately a player hiding in there somewhere, but he needs to get whatever is wrong with his head fixed

Seems to be mentally fragile for some reason, but like you say there is a player in there.
