I seen some crank on Twitter laughing at how people could want him when we are linked with N'Dombele. He also said he hadn't done that much and hasn't made a difference. The mad thing is people were agreeing with him.

Gomes looks class for us...probably someone who doesnt watch us, Ndombele to someone not watching the games is a potentially world class player.

Rom pretty much stated what he wanted to achieve & we were in no position to give him what he wanted. It was no surprise he moved on. Have not heard anything like that from Gomes though.

Anyway, it worked out well for Rom.........
