I know it’s not the cool opinion, and I should be saying we have to sign this 16 year old inverted-false-central winger-midfielder from the Portuguese league who has never made a senior appearance, but I really hope we sign Gomes.

Gomes oozes class. He’s had his ups and downs but he’s a player that has only been in the Prem a short while so can’t exactly demand consistency. While also the team he struggled for form. I reckon he can only
get better once he’s properly settled and we strengthen the team.
