I’m hoping he will be our long awaited replacement for Arteta. Interesting Lyndon Loyd said something similar.. all our players have either been able to do one thing or other but not rounded like our boy Mikel!

Passing model geeks can look at this and search for Andre.
He comes out as exactly average, which is actually fairly reasonable for a ball retaining midfielder, he plays a range of passing (not lots of shorts, not lots of longs, some tricky, some easy).
I try to retain my Gylfi bashing to one thread but was amused to see how few passes he makes laid so bare in the data. One every 5 minutes for us, compared to 1 every 2 for most midfielders.

Sigurdsson was never that type of midfield player though. He's basically a pot shot merchant who works incredibly hard and can fit a variety of systems.
Very damning for Iceland and shows that Morgan and Gana arent far away from the highest percentage.

.... Great opportunity for him here to rebuild his career; things obviously didn't go the way he would have wanted at Barca. Let's hope he takes his chance.
Didn’t get chance to speak to him. He was surrounded by the kids doing selfies. Fair play to them both stayed during half time and signed stuff & spoke to everyone
