An important watch for those who boo our team.

Really? Frankly I'd be surprised if anyone in the rest of the country was so aware. Are they getting the impression from TV? Doubt it, it has never been an issue that has come over on the telly. Are they getting it second hand, from the Press? Doubt it, the Press is not interested in anything to do with Everton. I read many newspapers and I truthfully can't recall one article or even a reference to 'the treatment Barkley (supposedly) gets'. That just leaves websites. In other words they are just regurgitating what is being said by Evertonians on our websites. A circular, self-supporting generation of a myth.

PS - do these very aware and knowledgeable associates of yours ever comment on the brilliance of our away support?
If you take the time to read some of my posts, I mention people comment on how fantastic our away support is.

When you are at the game the booing is totally embarrassing, but when you hear from other people it makes my toes curl.
Getting on the back of young promising players is unforgivable, and not supporting a team which is struggling by booing again is unforgivable.

It does beg the question why go the game if you are going to Boo, surely the word 'support' captures why you go the game. I appreciate we have our views and yes we pay our money so can vent our annoyances.....but surely booing is one step to far

Free speech is free speech

If people want to boo, that's their right

They've bought their ticket, they can do what they want

And there is a definate difference from intentionally booing someone with forethought and simply reacting to something on the spur of the moment. You think a we're going to score, we don't, you howl with derision. You don't mean to do that. You didn't go to the match thinking "When Lukaku misses a sitter I'm going to have a right good moan"

No, you go the match, something happens, you react for that split second, you calm down and then you get back behind the team.

To say it's disgraceful to react negatively completely disregards the human element of being a football supporter

Would you do it at the cinema? Cos you've paid your money and that so fk everyone else like.

Not the same

At the football, you're allowed to make noise

At a cinema, there's a video that plays right before the film asking you not to make noise

I mean, we could all watch the match in silence if you'd prefer?

Get yourself in to "shush" people who react to anything. Could be a nice litter earner for you. You could save up the money you make from it to buy yourself a nice cake. Wouldn't that be nice?

Totally wrong, Booing is something you intend to do, it is not a spontaneous reaction. Celebrating and venting frustration are spontaneous, most people celebrate and vent frustrations differently. People who Boo do it collectively at certain points in the game I.E subs being made/half time
I agree people pay their money so can vent anger, but believe booing is a step to far.
We seem to be a support base that now has an element who need hate figures, these people are an embarrassment at times, and for me we would be better without them.
I will say were I sit I have never seen anyone Boo,

Do you sit at Stamford bridge then.

People weren't booing Lukaku though

They booed when Besic went off, yes. Personally, I didn't like it, but I accept that it's someones right to behave in such a manner when they've paid for their ticket to attend

But when Lukaku missed they didn't boo. They just reacted with anguish, which is perfectly reasonable in that situation. I yelled and complained, but not directly at Lukaku. It was a reaction to the whole situation in general. That's something that's going to happen while we continue to be in the relegation dog fight. It's something you can't control or police as it's completely emotional and heat of the moment.
