I suppose it's cultural/dialectical preference. You see, in English we have these positions named First, Second, Third, Fourth, ... Some Americans use "one quarter" to describe 1/4, and probably all use "one half" to describe 1/2, but "one third," "one fifth," "one sixth," "one seventh," etc, follow the same pattern.

I understand how it might be repulsive to you to hear it described as "one fourth," but then how do you describe 4/7? "Quarter sevenths"

BTW, if you only watched the first 18s then you missed out on some superb "coaching" towards the end.
