American Food

After 75 pages I can't remember if these were posted and I can't be bothered to look for them.

The only Brit snack I've had was Jaffa Cakes and they were a different brand (does that matter?) and raspberry.

There's also an U.S. - Australia exchange, too.

The British where typically boring, the Americans where funny.

Meatball Sub

Needs more cheese. Had one of these Thursday for lunch. It had more cheese.

The one I got on Thursday night was not as good as the pic I posted. Cheese down here is a little off (Moz is usually
close), and ffs sauce is an issue on anything that uses it. Haven't done proper Italian, but between pizza and the sub, tomato sauce is a lot like hops or hot sauce... a concept they haven't entirely wrapped their heads around. Strides are being made, though, which is good.

That's not a biscuit :) that's a kind of savoury scone :)

American biscuits are boss mate...not a scone at all.

Depends how the biscuit is made. Some have a more crumbly texture like a scone, instead of flaky layers.

That said .....I think The Professor was referring to "biscuits" being what we would call cookies.
