Fried Gizzards and fixin's
There's a biscuit and some butter there. Hopefully its a hot biscuit.
Split it, butter it, put some honey on top, or use the honey right on the fried chicken. Once you've tried it once, you won't have to ask.
It's OK.
Bojangles is spicy...along the lines of cajun type spicy, but it's an NC based company.
Seriously. In each family, you have a designated gizzard cruncher, and a designated chicken liver lover.
Mom and I were on the chicken livers (need ketchup for this to work, though), my Aunt Margaret was the gizzard cruncher.
Eat the whole bird.
Better chicken than KFC, much better biscuits.
I have a combined KFC/Taco Bell about three minutes away, and haven't been there in years. I think most Americans will tell you something similar. There's a neighborhood diner that does much better fried chicken, and we tend to go there. We're past doing our own, it's just a big mess to clean up.
I'm sure it's good, probably akin to Popeye's, but you're not comparing it to Southern Classic, are you?
