See that's the thing. Over here hot dog sausages are typically full of dodgy reconstituted meat with a worryingly fine consistency. Cover that in batter and I'd imagine it'd be like eating a deep fried mars bar....

Obviously you're going to have to like hot dogs to like a corn dog. After that it's kinda like a corn bread bun.

And fried candy/chocolate bars are fair food; not real food. And nasty.

I should say I've never actually had a fried mars bar - I just notice them on the menu in chippies in Scotland when I'm there with work. Oh and deep friend mince pies and pizzas are even more popular.

I like sausages to be meaty. The best hot dog I ever had (if you can call it that) was at Man City's ground this season.

£6.50 or something for a foot long hot dog. But it was a proper meaty sausage. Lovely.
