I formed a HS band up for a Mardi Gras parade in the median right in front of Manale's back in eighty... three? I remember it was the night parade.
Take her to Brigtsen's and get her the "Shell Beach Diet" platter. Two of the ten best things I ever ate were on that plate.

Probably not appetizing for those not from the south (US). Wife is making a plate of pinto beans, mac & cheese, coleslaw and corn bread. Covered in pepper sauce. Watermelon for dessert. Will post a pic when it's ready.
