Wouldnt it just be easier to inject lard into the bloodstream?

Malbec originates from France

it's only nowadays it's mostly associated with South America

No, I'm not this much of a wine nerd normally, but I just watched the Three Sheets episode in Argentina as a predecessor to the Mrs. and I going to Mendoza in a couple months.

It's a matter of terroir.

In France, the grape properties are completely different. It's tart, potent, and best used in blended wines.

When in a climate like Mendoza, with more Sun, altitude, it's a sweeter grape that works for a wine all by itself. And is also more potent than most French wines. (Sugar that provides sweetness also ramps up the alcohol to 14.8% or so).

... and on that note, off to buy some before the stores close.

Tried my hand at a rib roast for the first time. Just [Poor language removed] nailed it! So pumped, perfectly medium rare, just...awesome. Also did mashed potatoes with a fantastic butter/garlic sautee instead of JUST garlic AND butter. I mean.......jebus what a great dinner!
