Onana is not even better than James Garner, if people actually watched him closely you’d see about 3 mins of action per game. It’s easy to dupe the fans if you go missing for most of the game and don’t have the bottle to actually make a mistake.
Anyone who thinks he has performed better for us than Barkley did clearly an agenda and has clue about football.

Got it mate.

Barkley, when he was with us, is like that basketball player that scores 17 a game and looks the part, but when you peel back the layers you see he shoots 5-16 from the field and turns it over 5 times a game. Every 4 or 5 games he gets hot and wins you the game and you think he's going to turn it around, but then it's back to the same, lack of ball movement, doesn't understand when to take guys on and when to drive and dish. In his spare time he makes these crazy you tube videos that the kids revel in b/c he has talent, but in the end it just doesn't translate to helping his team win, because he just doesn't get it. And then defensively, he's essentially a traffic cone, allowing his opposite number to do whatever he wants.

However, it does appear that now, 10-ish years later, he is beginning to get it. So that's good

I was so surprised when people called for us to pick him up on a free when Luton did, and not just because of the rat way he left

He had insane technical ability but he was thick as f and so frustrating

He was a brainless loon, but he was very good for us.

His last season under koeman he was class tbh

Think it was more that was a free and the state of the club we needed an extra mid in the windows. I was like you didnt really want him back but after this season i have said if we can get him on the right money he would be worth the risk for me, replace gomes and dele in the team and hopefully still let us buy another cm
