The lad has done what he came to do. We were a stepping stone for him from day one, and he was potential future profit for us.

He's shown he can be a premier league footballer and will go on to have a good career at a club that knows what it's doing.

He's not (yet) good enough to save a team as terrible as us - but he'll shine for a team like Newcastle/Arsenal/Spurs where he'll be surrounded by quality.

So long, and thanks for the profit.
Are we really going to make a profit on him? I'm not so sure

Don’t understand the hype, slow, lethargic, can’t pass, can’t tackle, positional sense non existence & have yet to see him actually hit the target with any type of well struck clean strike, living off the swivel & turn at the Emirates.

i posted them in Jan(?) I think and also a comparison with Casemiro, Jorginho, Partey and Caicedo a week or two ago.

Do you have his recent numbers?
Who cares Zat? We are going down and you go on about stats. Watch the game , he brings nothing to the party. It's the Emperor's new clothes mate

This lad has the potential but probably needs a full season first. Unfortunately we aren’t in a position to wait for his development. Think he will be decent if he moves to another Prem club in the summer after getting the experience from us.

The money should have been spent on a striker though.

Sums us up over the last ten years. We've never managed to get more than a couple of good players at a time.

As I said at the start of the season, if we had our time again, would we choose to spend £30-£40m on Onana or would we give Garner and Davies more games and buy a centre forward with that little money we had?

That decision has relegated us. Onana is not a good Footballer. He might be in time but right now he is Ben Godfrey in midfield. Looks like a Footballer. Strong and athletic but loses the ball too often and doesn’t do enough.

Poor signing.

Garner and Davies would have definitely relegated us!

How about not signing Garner, Maupay and McNeil and bringing in a pacy winger and a proper centre forward.
