Most probably not the case but there is a small probability that Lille changed their mind and want more money up-front for example, usually big clubs in Europe are professionals, once they agree on a deal, it's a deal, but it might happen, as long as Lille didn't "sign" the sale, he is their player and nothing we can do about it even if it's all agreed and signed with the player.

Anyway, the delay is not from our side or from the player's side, it's from Lille and hopefully it is not something like the above
