Allardyce: Pathetic

I really thought I was prepared to give him a chance and see if he actually did deserve a top job, but on the assessment of the last few months he is completely hideous as a manager and this group of players are the biggest bunch of passionless cowards we have ever had at the club.

Like you I was saying in the Allardyce thread give him a chance to show what he can do. Well that has been revealed yesterday and against the Baggies and Bournemouth. We can see now he is nigh on incompetent, to keep blaming the players is farcical. Yesterday I was with many and condemning the team selected and as it turned out the tactics. Does he never hold his hand and admit that he was at fault/ No he is too damned arrogant for that.

He has well and truly lost my support, the sooner out, the better.

How wrong I was, I actually thought Sam would take the Everton job and really grasp the so called bigger job, it looks like he is failing fast, it's as if he's found a note book behind a Niasse's locker that Koeman left there on how to manage Everton, because Sam is going exactly down the same route. But I'm beginning to wonder if someone from above is having some influence on team selection, as it's getting as weird as Koeman was, the Gueye,Snides partnership never did work under Koeman and it clearly isn't working now. Another weird one is no trust is shown in anyone else at LB surely now Garbutt or Mangala would be better options as they are actually left footed, Tosun I hope in wrong but looks to be going down the Sandro route already, is player power having a big influence on our troubles, I'm beginning to think it is.

It's looking like keeping Unsworth in would have been a much better option, please don't let him go to Oxford as we maybe needing him again. I still think we will survive quite easily but this season has been dire from the start, I'll be glad when it's over now.

This so far has been the worst season I have ever witnessed and my support goes back to my first game in 1961.

As much as I don’t want Allardyce here he’s right about the psychology of this team. Surprise surprise: if you pull together a bunch of players making their way down in the game rather than up in the game, they don’t have the heart to fight for anything. Their reputations aren’t on the line and they have comfortable lives.

The poor thing for Allardyce is that he doesn’t look capable of doing anything about it either.

Get to 40 points then I’m just hoping that Moshiri pulls his finger out and implements a proper strategy for the club that extends to on pitch matters.

Whilst this man is in charge if we win 3-0 or get beat 5-0 I don’t feel any different, basically I’m not arsed one bit. I now watch from the comfort of my living room instead of going the match.

This is pretty much it. The great disconnect of Everton fc

Just want this idiot gone (and all his sidekicks) absolutely awful decision to name him as our manager. Was always going to be disastrous with his mediocre track record.

I hate sam as much as anyone but the players need to start standing up n and being counted
What chance do they have?

Don't get me wrong I want the squad ripped apart starting in the summer and begun again and I know my ideal scenario won't come true but players there for different reasons need to go.

But we played with 5 defenders yesterday and 2 holding midfielders who sat in front of the defence. We then had 4 attacking players pushed up to counter . How could we ever get a result? We literally had no-one in the middle to win the ball back or pass it from defence to attack. Which is why we got hammered by them, when the all out defence didn't work (in a tactic that has not worked yet) we had lost the game within 20 minutes without a hope.

So as much as I get the players aren't good/compatable , ultimately these poor tactics are down to the manager. That's why we have one win in 9 games, because of the manager. If its solely down to the players then none of them should be here next season, simple as that
