I would have thought people would know to take his return to match fitness assessments with a pinch of salt by now, and realise he often mixes up singular with plural, so when he ways "I expect him back for the next game" it likely means "within the next games" and not that he is ready.

These types of injuries, don't want to rush him back. But good to hear that he's getting close. He is a potential game changer for us in terms of trying to squeak into the Top 4. If for no other reason he reduces the minutes of Iceland/Davies/Gomes, which should make them all better as well.

It's been a long two months without him but amazingly we're still right in the mix because literally everybody apart from City is extremely unpredictable right now. A magic win here and I'll believe top four is possible, at the moment for me it's still a very long shot.

I don't disagree and we will be better for his return but ( inc FA Cup ) 6 wins / 2 losses / 1 draw in his absence is a fantastic set of results considering.
