....it won’t be soon. The best thing is he pulled up right away and the physio was sensible getting him carried off. Much will now depend on the extent of the pull/tear but I doubt we’ll see him this month.
Tbh as soon as he went down I had visions of the West Ham cup game .
Same leg , holding it in the same place.
That was on 30th Sept , he missed the next game v Brighton and was back te game after The Derby.
Torn abductor was the injury.
He looks a really quick healer from his injury record , so hoping its not as bad as we all fear.

Hope so. He was brilliant before he went off.

Gutted for him. He was playing well again tonight. We are going to miss him but we need players to step up, like those that have replaced digne, James and seamus. We've got momentum again and let's keep it going against the gunners. We can beat them if we give the same effort.

Supposedly left the ground on crutches - cant see him back anytime soon sounds at least grade 2 which is 6-8 weeks normally.

Grade 3 is more 12 weeks.

Hopefully we find out Friday in Carlo's press conference.

Doesn't look good tbh but as blulouie posted we've been here before, then it was a torn abductor so you never know. Needs scans etc but it looked awfully like a bad pull me.

Ancelotti has had to learn with Coleman that too quick is often far longer out so he has to tread carefully. Everyone is different and Allan may be just someone who heals very quickly, a month off looks the likely minimum but hope for better.

Forever Blue (above) is possibly nearer the mark and a much longer break of six to eight weeks.
