You get the impression he will be effective in the dressing room. We sorely lack leaders. Seamus might be captain but he is still a bit soft. I can imagine Allan getting in opposition players and refs faces,

...yep. When the players are in the tunnel ready to go out they look at the likes of Allan and are glad he’s on their side.
