Allan's just managed to get the stream working on the official website and seen we're 3-0 down to Blackpool in 10 minutes

If , after watching that s**t today , anyone still thinks we shouldn't get him in urgently , they really do need to give their heads a bloody big wobble.

Literally nobody has said we shouldn't get this done urgently though.

The deal is being worked on. We might not want to pay Napoli an extra £5m right now, or £10m. You can say 'that's not a lot', but it really, really is. It's a £100k p/wk player (or two).

It's being worked on. Had he been signed last week, or the week before, he wouldn't have played today. He wouldn't have even started pre-season, tbh.

One thing that was noticeable today was a switch to a 4-3-3 (well, tried to be that, but ended up being a 4-5-1).

It was obviously a trifector of tosh with Davies-Gylfi-Gordon, but I think the setup is clearly in place with the idea of having two new players slotting in, and ideally it looks like: Allan-Gomes-Doucoure.

It was a bit asymmetric in the first half as well with Kean pushed way up compared to Iwobi, probably to support Dom, whether that's tactical or unfamiliarity with the position I dont know but that position would suit Richarlison as well as a wide forward as oppose to a winger.
