If I was a "Headpatter" mate, there is no way on earth that I wouldn't have been able to not make one comment about the results between our two teams in the last 6 or so games I've been on here.

Being better than we have really is such a low low bar. A passing knowledge of world football would have almost all of them figuring out a better midfield than what we have.

But you're adding a degree of being hypothetical.

We have regressed pretty much year on year since Moshiri came in because we don't buy better than what we have.

Why aren't we looking to sign a 24 year old top class talent who we can sign for a reasonable fee and then sell on at a profit. We are the gift that keeps on giving.

But you have to understand also that world class 24 year olds will have better options then us. We dont regularly play in Europe and haven't won anything since 95. All we have to offer is Carlo and decent wages. Most quality young players want to be playing in CL/EL
