All good things must come to an end

Moyes should've walked on Sat afternoon.

And / or Bill should've sacked him, 4mths compo? even for us not much.

Oops, forgot Bill's only the chairman, he doesn't actually call the shots does he Messrs Earl and Green??

I think Moyes let his feelings be known to the board prior to January; If you don't back me, then I won't sign a new contract. But the board didn't back him, so he hasn't signed a new contract, which is fair enough, IMO

I've had enough of Moyes. I've had enough of his BS rhetoric and small time mentality. However, whoever our new manager is will be told that you HAVE to work under these circumstances (Kenwright circumstances) and therefore you're just going to get more of the same; i.e a manager who comes in without being expected to achieve anything, a manager that gets praised for finishing 7th, and a manager who will be told that he shouldn't have taken the Everton job on if he expected to be backed with money, because that no longer happens at Everton, because Everton are now a small club.

If moyes does,nt put the preasure on the board for himself and the players after 11 years then who can we expect to help put preasure on the board?

The fans?....Pffttttttttt...no chance

Thats probably how 90% of us feel at the moment, i feel our play is very predictable and sometimes close to boring and stale, if Moyes goes i will wish him all the best for the future but i do feel we need a change to get this Great club back in the right direction.

Oh right a change to get us going in the right direction???
Are we going in the wrong direction??

U need to be realistic.... We're 6th a little out of form with some tired players. We are where we SHOULD be.

What are ur expectations??? Should we be higher than arse, spurs, Chelsea, city? Even Liverpool who incedentaly have spent 40M this season...

U need to get real... Frustrated yes, angry or wanting change?? Not really!

If the manager had more options he could change that but we have a penniless owner for the last 13 years who won,t step aside.

So he should have either walked out or been sacked because our back line decided to drop off onto the goal line & we conceded a soft goal?

Behave yourself.

The only thing stopping us from being above the likes of Spurs, is our inability to beat teams who have spent FAR LESS than us.

We are probably about where we should be when everything is taken into account. But nothing changes mate. Moyes is quite a negative manager. And that has probably helped us at times. Keeps us grounded when things are going well. It's just all become a little tired now.

I really appreciate what Moyes has done for us. I really do. But i've had enough now I think. It would be a huge risk to lose him, and it might backfire horrendously. Or it could go completely the opposite and we could get better. Only one way to find out.

People keep saying we have the best squad of players under the Moyes regime right now. Then why aren't we doing better with them then? Is it the players? Could be. Is it the mentality they are set out with? Could be.

So if we've under performed against the lesser sides, then to be in the position we are, then we must have over performed against the better ones then? You can't have both sides of that argument.

We have consistently out performed our budgets under Moyes, that's a fact, so let's not have to go through it yet again.

Moyes has consistently delivered a level of performance that is now seen as 'par' by many Evertonians, which ignores the fact that 'par' under Moyes is out performing his budgets.

The expectation appears to be, that a new man can come in & take that over performance to yet another level, which is somehwat optimistic. The reality could be quite different.....

This issue at EFC is the lack of resources, the lack of resources is down to the board not be able or willing to fund the club. Until that current reality changes, then EFC will not move on from it's current position in a sustainable way. All the talk about Moyes tactics, substitutions etc etc, is just the minutiae of it, changing the manager won't change our fortunes, unless someone throws a fortune at it......

He will sign his new contract, as he will because nobody else will be giving him £90k a week, and NEVER putting ANY pressure on him to do ANYTHING.

The lack of resources did not make us lose to Leeds, Oldham, Shrewbusry, Buccharest, Fiorentina, and Wembley last year.

By my maths (which isn't very good I grant you), Moyes has earned not far off £50m in his time at Everton.

I'll leave you with that thought.

Laughing at people thinking that it was the players choice to sit deep and defend a lead as if Moyes dorsnt drill into them exactly how he wants them to play.
He blamed them? Yeah he would wpuldnt he, just like he denied his contract situation wasn't at fault for our dip in form in any way. Hes not gonna admit its his tactics or actions at fault is he?
