Before the red card there was clearly a plan to switch it cross field from left to right and Iwobi looked a real threat. Nullified when he had to drop back. Never thought I’d say this but if I’d probably base the starting 11 on Thursday around getting him on the ball as much as possible. He’s been central to most of the things we’ve done well in recent months.

I thought he was great for us in the 2nd half. Always happy to receive the ball and try to carry, or/and pass it forward. A big reason we secured safety tonight. I hope he plays more centrally in the future. Well played ?

I'll have to admit, I've changed my opinion on him. Frank's managerial style is bringing out a much different player here. I'm beginning to rate Iwobi.
I'd keep him now granted we let him stay in this weird Joelinton position.
Seeing as nobody will buy him we might as well get behind him. He's been much improved and providing he improves further next season he's on his way to redemption.
