It’s not, so it comes down to what the manager wanted and what he saw in training.
There wasn’t much training between Thursday and Sunday and frank said he wants to let the players enjoy the winning feeling so goes back to a confidence player dropped after Thursdays display

Bad management on this occasion
Just out of curiosity, how is not starting a player who has had literally less then a handful of good games in three years, bad management.

Because he scored a last minute winner against Newcastle??

Alex Iwobi is utter arse mate, he’s truly a woeful player who needs to be moved on away from this club. Him starting today would not have changed anything, he has the same mentality as the rest. He would have shirked his responsibilities and you’d be here telling everyone that Lampard shouldn’t have started him.

Another must sell in the summer. Inconsistent is being kind, a handful of good games in 3 years isn’t anywhere near good enough to be an Everton player. Time we started getting a bit more ruthless, the odd flicker of promise isn’t enough.

I agree that he’s not performed but still think he should have been given the chance today given the confidence boost from Thursday
100% it's not like we have great players keeping him out, Dacoure for example has been a disgrace but dosent get dropped

Agree with the consensus that he should've started on Sunday, or at the very least he should've been the one to replace Townsend.
