Brands says he is expecting goals and assists from Iwobi - as well as competition for a key position.

"He's 23-years-old, already quite experienced and the most important thing: he has goals and assists in his game."

When’s his contract come to an end? No one will buy him unfortunately.
In terms of levels he’d fit in nicely at an average championships team or even excel in league one.

That quote alone from Brands should result in instant dismissal, irrespective of the rest of the sh1tshow he’s presided over

It will be up there with World Footballs worst ever pound for pound buy when the inevitable happens and he leaves on a free in *sigh* 30 months time as nobody will pay actual money for him .
You're assuming Brands doesn't give him a new contract in a year or two to "protect the value of the asset". (A horrifying thought).

He is far from being the only one. One of the Neville bros a few years ago wrote that the relationship between fans and many supporters has been damaged by the scandal of huge salaries paid to very ordinary players. Salaries which are fortunes to ordinary fans. So when an Iwobi for example turns up and is supposedly paid say £30k per week, the anger is justified. Pay your top stars whatever, but if Iwobi, Davies, and a good number of others are paid more than £1000 per week they are grossly overpaid.
