Arsenal fan here. He's not a top player, a decent player but we're happy with the fee:

Strengths

Close control/dribbling
First touch
Strength
Pace
Link Up play
Workrate
short passing game
ball retention

Weaknesses

Finishing - his technique and placement is poor

He's also much better as a CAM than a winger. I expect he could progress with more game time.

It was a surprise to many of us he made it out of our academy over others

Asked my Arsenal-supporting mate about him a few hours ago and he said he tends to lose the ball a lot and make bad decisions. So he should fit right in here then.

This is a nonsense, the best thing about him is his ball retention decision making, albeit not in front of goal

I think Iwobi might be a better signing than he seems - lots of experience in prem and international at a young age and reasonable stats in terms of assists / second assists / goals

People will say we should have kept Lookman but this guy has a lot more experience and Lookman I believe was strongly pushing to leave
Ignoring the 'banter merchants', enough Arsenal fans sad to see him go and think it's a reasonable deal for him, us and them.

A 1 in 10 striker for 35 million (at least) Terrible business. You can argue he can also play on the wing, but we have plenty of cover there already. Reeks of desperation.

Niasse is a more effective goal scorer!

He's not anywhere close to being a striker, he's predominantly wide-left who comes inside.

Home-grown, PL experience with Arsenal and came through under Wenger, and 23-years-old...I'm not sure what price people expect players like that to be in today's market.

He's definitely more of a winger mate. Hardly have plenty of cover there. If Bernard or Richy get injured then we have Walcott and Mirallas as wingers...........

In all fairness its not the statement signing we all wanted after the Zaha and multiple other players we have been linked with this summer but he's come from a top club with an abundance of attacking quality. His stats seem quite decent. He gives us various options. Looking forward to seeing how he gets on here.

Underwhelmed as I was hopeful of Zaha, but let's give him a chance. He's got quality, and I'd take him in the team all day over Walcott. A front line of Iwobi, Kean and Richarlison is full of pace and power.

Walcott is a better player. The amount of stick he gets is unfair. His goal scoring record at Arsenal is far superior and even his ratio here is better than Iwobi’s. Every Time I have seen Iwobi play he has been poor.

I like Iwobi........he can certainly be frustrating to watch at times (as can Zaha) but he is young, skilful and given a run of games who knows what his full potential might be? At £35-40m, already with premier league experience at a high level, this could be a low risk signing with plenty of upsides. Just need to give the guy a chance to prove himself.
