Price is over the top but it’s not a disaster signing as we know he has quality.

Better than the crock Rojo on a permanent deal that would have been a disaster as he is a liability.

ive always rated iwobi but 40 mil seems steep. Then again if you rephrase it to - "is he worth half of what zaha would cost" then i think the answer is yes.

He is 3 years younger...potentially he could be better than zaha

Never rated him for Arsenal, always seems to flatter to deceive, but as with the other signings I prefer to judge him when he plays for us.

We had exactly the same when Walcott signed and it feels exactly the same to me with Iwobi.

Completely different players. And Walcott is only obsolete because of how good Richarlison is at doing the same sort of thing. Walcott would have been fine if he started all year.

Puts more sense into not signing a CB today as well. Worse case scenario and Mina/Keane get injured, Gbamin can drop in and we aren't light in midfield. Think a CB will then be top priority in January.
