Got to feel sorry for AJ.
I don't think Moyes gave him a full opportunity here, and hope the guy gets some luck, and goes on to get his England place back.

Gutted for the baldy whippet. Seems Fulham could be consolidating. Spanner in the works for Hodgson, get your fantasy team updated with Zamora maybe.

Seems to be the popular injury this season - like the metatarsel a few years ago.

So far;

Nani, Rafael, AJ, Stiliyan Petrov, Walcott still out, Nacho Novo, Stern John, Kleberson, Jared Wilson (Birmingham), Dean Bowditch (Yeovil)...

it's a nasty injury with no quick fix.

he is going to have to start brushing his teeth with his left hand.

there is a doctor in seoul who has developed a new technique. he has been all over the USA giving presentations to other shoulder dude doctors. he makes three keyhole incisions and used a thread to tighten up the ligaments. pain is minimum and recovery time is bloody quick. out of the sling in 2 weeks.

it only took about 2 hours for the op. he was actually demonstrating his technique to a team of doctors from hong kong as he was operating on me, so i guess he was being extra careful.

he boasts a 95% mobility in the shoulder and honestly it feels as good as the other one.

be careful who you choose mind, there are some unlucky guys who end up with uneven shoulders and allsorts.

the full open procedure where they open the shoulder right up is nasty, aside from high chance of infection and huge pain afterwards, it takes way longer to make a full recovery.
