Ah ya was just wondering when another team plays at their ground for europe do their fans go down for a bit of mischief.probaly nea or maybe they just get behind another team when it comes to europe. Not specifically, just the water protest, bin charges etc etc brigade
In fairness the surface is crap, uneven bounce etc, it should be dug up!Ah ya was just wondering when another team plays at their ground for europe do their fans go down for a bit of mischief.probaly nea or maybe they just get behind another team when it comes to europe.
Ya that surface at oriel looks dreadful on telly.must be horrible to play on.be nice to be able to play their european games at home to.nice boost for the local economy as well.
So the invincibles are mere mortals after all.would have been nice but some season they had.hopefully they put up a good dhowing next season.Limerick city lose for the first time this season, 25th league match of the season, 2-0 to Cobh Ramblers.
I guess they've been on the piss the last few weeks. Cobh have been decent last few weeks to be fairLimerick city lose for the first time this season, 25th league match of the season, 2-0 to Cobh Ramblers.

Ya be good to see waterford doing good to.don't know is roddy the man for them though.seems to be a lack of funding down there to.limerick seem to run a good ship.that's the thing isn't it, div 1 is so poor,I suspect they will be ok next season. It's important for this area that the city gets to be as competitive as it can with Dublin and Cork. it's getting there what with Young Munster and Garryowen in the top division of UBL , Limerick city in the Premier next season.
Ya a few things have happened up there now.wouldn't fancy it myself.Dundalk beat Derry 2 1 in the cup semi final replay. Dundalk fans bus burned out and they attacked outside the ground by the local scum ( not derry fans). Psni won't police the area, it's an absolute jungle outside the brandy well these days. Only ground in Ireland I won't travel too
I won't pretend to understand the political situation in the area. But if the local police won't go into the area then I'm sure as hell not venturing in there. Cork city fans were attacked leaving a bar up there this season by local yobs. Derry FC don't want to know about it because it's happening outside the ground so it's nothing to do with them according to themselves, but that to me isn't good enough. If you can't ensure the safety of visiting fans then you as a football club have an issue imoYa a few things have happened up there now.wouldn't fancy it myself.
i think it is the same in england though isn't and probably most of the world that the club are only responsible for you in the ground.it is not their job to police outside the ground.think during the world cup in brazil the same point came up about who is responsible and where.I won't pretend to understand the political situation in the area. If the psni won't police the surrounding area then what do you do? When Dundalk fans rang for help last night the psni told them they were on their own. That was a family enclosure bus with young kids etc on it. A 14 yr old bottled ffs. I blame the psni tbh, how can a police force refuse to answer calls for help? But I don't think Derry City FC are blameless they know what's happening, legally they may not be responsible but they certainly have a moral obligation IMHO. Pats fans were throwing shapes in inchicore on Sunday after City beat them, cops came in with dogs and cleared them in 5 mins job done, no hassle, nobody hurt. We as city fans are still laughing about it, it was comical but it was sorted. Derry is just dangerousi think it is the same in england though isn't and probably most of the world that the club are only responsible for you in the ground.it is not their job to police outside the ground.think during the world cup in brazil the same point came up about who is responsible and where.
ya suppose the psni are still seen by some as not their police force but it is fairly bad in this day and age and with the peace process there that some areas are still no go areas for them.i agree the club should be doing more to protect innocent football fans.it will get to the day that you will have no visiting fans there.
