Was at the game tonight, unbelievable stuff. Imagine my effing surprise seeing Tal Ben-Haim and Yossi Benayoun still playing football

Yossi got a fair amount of stick from my stand when he came on, it has to be said. I didn't even realise Ben Haim played for Maccabi until my cousin pointed it out to me near the end of the game.

Unbelievable season for Dundalk, they've earned more money from this European run than if they won the league every year until 2044.

The problem child causing headaches for John Dealany once more. Good to see Martin O Neill there again, these players deserve a fair crack at the whip - despite what league 1 and 2 players might have to say.

Lot of Free Palestine protests outside Tallaght stadium last night, now that I recall. Does that happen everywhere they go?

I remember Dundalk getting fined about 3-4 years ago for Palestinian flags being on display in Oriel. Can't remember if it was a european game or not or just the fai dishing out the fines as usual.

Ya that is exactly what i meant.read it yesterday about the fine celtic got and someone wrote in the comments section about israeli teams playing and never even dawned on me until then that they do.

Completely agree, should build a Tallaght type Stadium in Dundalk, have the funds now!
Its a great venue and a cracking ground
Oriel is a great venue and Id hate them to move location but it is a dump and they need to build a proper stadium
Rovers were great hosts for Dundalk but Im sure theyre making a few bob, but well deserved
