A third 1-0 win on the bounce has us within two points of Drogheda and tbh I can't see any world in which they finish ahead of us now. Think we will finish ahead of Sligo as well so looking forward to a cup run, hopefully

Not sure if it from watching Sligo Rovers matches or watching only on the streaming service but the football is so poor, so many dreadful teams and even Derry who will turn out to be the 2nd best team in the league are shocking but I believe that is down to Higgins.

Derry are awful, beaten 4 1 again last night by a resurgent Pats side who have now won 5 out of 6 since Daly came in. There is a soft underbelly to that Derry side IMHO, they crumble at the first sign of adversity

Four on the bounce now. Bohs equalise 88th min and are still trying to get into a section of the ground containing kids and families when City go up the other end and win it, one of the great ways to win a game ever.
Meanwhile Lambert and the bohs club poet can produce all the hipster bs they want,, they will never change what bohs really are, absolute scum

I rarely want a good bozo result but very happy with them holding Derry last night.

Rovers did what they needed to do.

As I said @NeroCeasar the defeat at TX may have been the catalyst for us to go on and win the league.

It is IMHO an absolutely awful league this season (standard wise). Rovers by far and away the best side in it, Derry have been abysmal, Dundalk beat us last night and couldn't string two passes together, they were absolutely brutal, which gives you an indication of what we were.
Bohs are bohs, all talk but nothing to back it up really. Shels, Sligo, Drogs, all poor sides and poor UCD are just lambs to the slaughter, as I said IMHO, and abysmal standard

....and so to this evening.

Bohs v Rovers live on RTE2
Derry Cork City
Drogheda Dundalk- the Louth Derby
St Patrick's Athletic Shelbourne
UCD Sligo

I hope we do the business at Dalyer, but never easy.

@NeroCeasar Cork might do us a small favour???

Should have done so tbh. Missed two 1v1 and hit post all in first half, to then concede the way we did and go in one down was an absolute kick in the teeth. Never showed up second half, but you have nothing to worry about, third time I have seen us play Derry this season and nothing has changed my mind, Derry are a poor side

Threw away an easy 2 goal win. Still annoyed

Another poor showing from Rovers last night @Bluerover?
Pats were desperate against us as well.
Europe this week, I just can't see any of our sides going deep tbh, I keep saying it but to me the league is really poor this year

You should watch some first div matches - it'll make you appreciate the premier div. Dire stuff altogether.
Went to Cobh last night as they were playing Galway. Galway are this record setting FD side and could not if they were still there, break down a cobh side playing the last 40 min with 10 men. Cobh were tbf to Shane Keegan, well organised and determined but Galway were a disgrace to football. Scored from a penalty and that was it, didn't create another notable chance in the game. PD won't be any better next season when they are in it

I know he won the league with Cork but I've never seen a John Caulfield side play good football.

Dundalk are absolutely rubbish and that takes some saying considering some of our performances especially last Friday night. They will embarrass the league in Europe later on in the season
Dundalk haven't entered the ring yet but Rovers and currently Pats are doing their best on this front?
