2nd goal is superb. Glad he's doing well and hope another club comes in and takes him off our hands. Hopefully with the form he's shown for Preston we may have a few takers, depends if anyone is willing to stump up 50k+ a week.

No. But the experts have stated he's no good at all, and that was never the case...except in the minds of the "experts".
..I was quite happy when we acquired him but it's clear from noises within the club that he's not the best professional. He's always had the ability to score a fine goal or produce a bit of magic but his all around game will always be an issue for top flight teams.

The fact that he had a spare tyre when he was introduced to the fans after signing (& I know it was the mid winter Russian break) should have rung alarm bells. Shouldn't really be an issue for a professional player to stay in shape for the all to brief years of their careers - especially one who wants to ply his trade in a top level league.

With his skills he's probably just too good for the championship but for a team looking to break the top 6, top 4 he's just not good enough, I personally don't think anyway.

What are you being snobbish about Preston for? A solid Championship team. Does a player who finds that level have no talent for you? Is that the basis for you and your chums to laugh at a player?

No not really, but we were a possesion based side, I'm talking about a team that look to sit deep and hit teams on the break who look to players like McGeady as an out ball and someone who can beat men and get them forward. We didn't really use him, or any of our wingers to that effect.

You answer your own question. Championship. Everton are not the level you are talking about here. All I want is that Koeman sells him with a fee because his wages obstruct this club to get more new players in. Of course I wish him well because it is best for him to move on.
It does not need to be an expect to see whether he is good enough for this club. Your master RM and him had already proved whether they are good enough.
