His stats show that he does have an end product. He's a traditional winger who's style perhaps makes you think he's being wasteful sometimes because nothing comes of it every time but the proof is in the pudding. He contributes big time to his teams goals. Kinda like how Baines puts in a million crosses and we only score from a few of them. We don't have a winger like that though do we. Could be a decent option to have.

Im not a fan of stats, say somebody smacks a ball and it comes off his arse, then somebody scores?

Not a fan of stats myself.

Ok. I'll try it this time without numbers. He has scored goals and assisted his team mates at a better or similar rate than our wide players during his time at Celtic and Spartak Moscow. Maybe worth a punt if he's cheap to see if he can do it in the PL and give us a different option in the wide positions at the same time.

He's got pace and likes to run at defenders. I think he'd be a great option to have coming off the bench against tired legs, particularly when the alternative would be naismith.

I'm sure there are better players out there, but I don't know if they'd be as available or cheap as Mcgeady. We may have a bit of money to spend but it won't be loads unless we sell Fellaini. Realistically this is the kind of market we're in, and when you look at the players we've had playing out wide for us over the last 15 years I don't think he sounds that bad.

Watched McGeady for years guys when he was at Celtic and i'd say he was probarly say he was the best player there for the last four seasons, ok maybe it was just Scotland but i honestly think he'd do a good job for Everton
