Can't believe this terrible player is still being talked about as a possible addition.

We could get Donovan for around 4M cheaper. We could get Sinclair for around the same money....

They want the kind of money for him that we payed for mirallas!! So many better options out there than this guy.

McGready only got a year left on his contract, Sinclair signed a 4 year contract last season

Yes but city want rid. They have just signed two 20-30M attacking midfield players. They will take 4-5M for him.

Was just using as an example. Point being around 5M will buy us a lot better than McGeady in a global market!

Mcgready will be about 1.5 million tho, so they wont cost the same for starters. I bet Sinclair wages are pretty good as well. Would rather have Sinclair, my point is McGready will not cost the same at Sinclair. I recken they will expect around 7 million for Sinclair.

Kindof a jarg story? How does he have one year lef ton his contract, don't russian contracts run january to january? In that case, can we sign him on a precontract and get him for free next christmas, or do we have to wait till the christmas after that?

Not sure on the lad, i like tricky wingers and think he'd be useful in the squad.
Then again, for £5m you can get Kevin Mirallas. Is he better or just as good as Kev? Doubt it.

They changed to an European Calendar nowadays, so they might have signed a half-year extension or similar.

Lets hope Martinez sticks to his word that there is a global network of players available.

Kone, Callum Mcmanaman, McGeady, Sinclair.. They are not the answer but merely players we are familiar with.
Branch out.

In the past there have been rumours of us looking at Fetfatzidis. A much, much better option.

Remember the last Irish guy we got who everyone said was ****? He turned out pretty good so lets just wait and see.

I'd love McGeady here, I think he's an excellent player and just what we need. I know he's known as a winger but I reckon he's best suited to playing in a 3 behind a loan striker and the stats back this us. He doesn't actually like to cross a ball and he's more of a busy, direct player who can pick a pass.

Any player we pay decent money for now has got to be good enough to strengthen our 1st team and IMO , he does.

A top drawer striker with McGeady, Mirrallas and another (possibly Piennar but I'd prefer him to be the 4th player challenging for the 3 spots and he'll have to step it up on last year) would be strong. Osman, Gibson, Barkley, Lundstram + Fer or another if Fellaini goes for the 2 central midfield roles.

Who's the mystery "loan" striker coming in mate?? You ITK??

Both are what I'd define as typical Martinez Wigan signings. If these were/are genuine targets for him at Everton, he needs to step his game up quickly.

Wasn't the new Manchester United manager a long term admirer of McGeady too?
