Aiden McGeady

Seeing as the two wingers you just said were better than him are still on the books I hope he is not first choice. What I'd give for a whole season of Pienaar and Mirallas on the flanks fit and in form.

He was only messing tbf and yes Pienaar and Mirallas were a big part of our excellent season before last. Now GD is in the mix as well.

There's no harm in having Geads as an option from the bench though. Genuinely don't get all the hate on here for a player who was effectively a free transfer.

Wouldn't sell for anything less than £3-4 million tbh, would still do a decent job for a mid table side. Lennon would cost atleast £5 million to bring in

Could understand it more if he didn't work hard defensively but he does - there was a period last season where Coleman was recovering from his Achilles injury and he could barely move in the first half of a game and McGeady had to do a huge amount of covering work for him. Lennon got lots of credit for a similar link up but Aiden barely got a mention.

If you pay 3-4 million for McGeady then you need to be tested for insanity

Not really mate. It's fairly common for Championship clubs to pay that sort of fee.

I'm not convinced he's good enough for us, but I'm pretty sure he'd cause havoc amongst Championship defences.

McGeady would be a more than decent Championship League player so I'm supposing getting 2-3 million pounds for him is certainly not beyond the realms of possibility

Am sure i could probably vault a few people, but i cant be arsed looking. A few years ago people where ripping Pienaar for being "the assister of the assister" and not grabbing as many assists as he should... yet now we are talking about "chances created" by someone who offers half of what Pienaar has done for us and the way we play.

Just get shut, thought he would be good and had a bit about him - the fact he hasn't had game time and others have got time in his position says it all.

No he didn't Barry saved a poor cross which was going straight out with an unbelievable header right into Colemans path. It was an awful ball from Mcgeady

Awful from McGeady to skip past a full back and put in a far post cross right onto his teammates head. Awful
