What is it with us 'Evertonians' and our players? We put up with decades of mediocrity and when the club has some quality, if they don't perform every game, or unfortunately injured, they get ripped to bits!!! McGeady hasn't been lucky enough to have a run in the side. He's never played PL before yet there have been glimpses of his ability since he arrived. I think it could be an idea to wait until a player has time to prove (or condemn) himself before we start this churlish keyboard assassination

Some people end up looking a bit dopey when they slag the likes of Robles, Kone, Lukaku etc, and then we see them perform at the top level. I'd love to see McGeady score the winner in Warsaw and all his detractors singing his name . . . It's not what being an Evertonian should be about. As a youngster, I was busy slagging the kopites rather than Darracott, McLaughlin, Lawson - own individual players; it's a TEAM game and if some player is not being helped, it might not be just down to him. Unfair
