Lol at the people trying to be too cool for school with the hating on tonight stuff.

It was a great, very enjoyable night, with a confidence boosting win for the team, nice Naismith hattrick, and a great moment in Hibberts career. And going by the EFC players tweets post match, they enjoyed it as much as the fans did.

Being an Evertonian is great; it's even better when you're not trying to be a points-scoring sanctomonious, miserable smart arse.

You didn't riot?!

FFS

I'd say why but I'd sound a bit Davecky and clearly most lids on here are enjoying the moment so I won't.

Anyway, nice one Hibbo lid. Just do us all a favour and don't score at Goodison in a competitive match... the ensuing riot might get us heavily fined!

First off, what a great game - or atleast up to about 70 minutes. Brilliant to see Naismith score 3 goals (to which he tweeted: Cheers hibbo score 3 and couldn't get the fans on the park then u bag and the place goes mental hahaha great sight amazing to see) and all in 30 minutes, it was a really good half from him.

As for the Hibbert goal - i loved the suspense, and the roar from the fans when they all realised he was walking over to take the freekick. I was worried the goal wouldn't be good, as it would be in a friendly and most likely gifted to him, but like Hibbert said - he didnt want it to be an easy goal. He scored a great goal and its not too surprising because when he does shoot he normally has a good strike.

As for the celebration, i loved the fans getting on the pitch - its a laugh, not small time, they went on the pitch because it was a huge occasion which everyone has wanted for years. Honestly thought Hibbert would have had a better celebration though!! Thought he was going to do a fishing one or something!

Great night, great occasion, great celebrations!! Now for him to score in the Premier League...

Watching on a stream, saw the bench looking a bit mortified at the riot, but Gueye was pissing himself, he knows what it's about.
Unbelievable, he buried it.

Outstanding!!

The greeks are experienced in rioting though so it wouldnt of fazed them haha.

Hibbert son Australia loves ya!! Oooh and if you score when Im at Goodison for the geordie game im running on the field naked!! (im an aussie so aint afraid to show off my dong)

Oh and fair enough going on the pitch as a laugh in a friendly, but it was slightly ruined for me when I saw 2 or 3 kids aged about 6-10 years old running on the pitch, if your a parent you don't let them do that no matter what.

The attendance didnt seem great so im delighted this happened for him, nicely done!

They had to open the lower bullens properly cause the stands that were open (Main Stand, Park End, Lower Gladwys) were all open. It was a very good attendance for a friendly, a credit to everybody who went.

[Poor language removed] clapping Kenwright though, shouldnt have boo'd or clapped.

It didn't seem bad from where i was sitting, the park end was chocka, the middle tier of the main stand was virtually full, i didn't see any empty seats in the lower glads but you're right, what a memory for a top servant!

Well done Hibbo but THAT news just makes me weep.
